Description:
Pursuant to Board policy BED, the Board will allow every person who wishes to address the board on an agenda item to do so before the board’s consideration of the item. The Board shall not deliberate regarding any subject that is not included on the agenda posted with notice of this meeting. This is a time for the Board to stop, look, and listen to public comments. Each speaker will be allowed three minutes to address the Board.

III.A. Canvassing of the November 4, 2025 Voter-Approval Tax Rate Election
Presenter:
Board President, Wanese Butler
Description:
The presiding officer shall announce the final certified canvass results and the summary report for the November 4, 2025 Voter-Approval Tax Rate Election.
The canvassing authority shall prepare a tabulation of the precinct returns showing, for each precinct: (1) the total number of ballots cast; (2) the number of votes cast "FOR" the proposition; (3) the number of votes cast "AGAINST" the proposition; and (4) the number of voters in the precinct who cast a ballot for a candidate or voted "FOR" or "AGAINST" the measure. |

Description:
The presiding officer shall cause notation in the minutes of the meeting that the canvass has been completed, and shall certify the results of the election.
