Texarkana Gazette featured eight local high schools, including Redwater High School, participating in the Just Love and Kindness community service event. Our students built and delivered bags filled with winter supplies for our local homeless shelters in Downtown Texarkana. They traveled to Randy Sam’s, the Salvation Army, and Mission TXK.

Discussion:
Six Golden Dragons participated in Redwater Intermediate School’s annual STEAM Expo by serving as guest judges for student science projects. After judging, they were "sorted" into an RIS student House during a fun gym event with students. In addition, the Golden Dragons were shown the construction progress of our playgrounds.

The district received high praise from the Law Enforcement Community for the abilities of our Guardians and staff.
