3.A. Consider authorizing a deviation from the grade requirements found in CMC 8-208(2) for the sidewalk at 815 Fairway Court.
Discussion:
Grading requirements for sidewalks were discussed, along with why other properties in the Fairway Court development are not meeting those requirements. Ron Sack stated that if the requirements weren't relaxed for 815 Fairway Court, there would have to be a retaining wall put in or the sidewalk would be a steep hill and the driveway would be slanted. City Administrator Tom Ourada voiced the importance of making this a one-time relaxation of standards.
