Discussion:
Library Director Joy Stevenson reported that Santa Claus will be at the library reading letters from children on Dec. 22 in a recorded event. City Administrator Tom Ourada reported that city forces may be able to build the acoustical panels for the library for less expense than contracting it out. He also reported that Seward is considering a mask mandate. Crete and Seward have different factors to consider given their local situations and hospital affiliations. Mayor Bauer reported that he has visited many of the downtown businesses and has observed mask wearing by employees and clients/shoppers. He also reported that Governor Ricketts has mandated that virtual meetings for voting officials are allowed through January.
