I recommend that the Jefferson Middle School field trip to Williamsburg, VA be approved by the Board. The attached documentation details the Jefferson Middle School American History field trip to Williamsburg, Jamestown, Yorktown, and Charlottesville, VA. Included is a trip cost breakdown sheet and informal bid information for hotel, transportation, banquet, and Colonial Williamsburg programs. The 7th grade parent/student letter, itinerary, and sign-up information will be sent home this week, pending Board approval. The final permission packet and price information will be sent home in August, 2015. This year’s trip dates are October 2-5, 2015, at the beginning of Fall Break.
