8. Director's Report

Speaker(s): Jacob Sorrells

Discussion:

During the Director's Report: Mr. Sorrells presented a budget timeline for completing the 2019-2020 general purpose budget; informed the board that the system would be implementing a new SIS (Student Information System); gave an update on the Preston Hopkins renovations (work will begin the end of this week or beginning of next week, and the Marshall County Highway Department will be doing the demolition).

Before adjourning, Ms. Cathey, on behalf of the board, thanked the various schools for the Board Member Appreciation Week gifts.
