There was discussion regarding the changes that are being required by the County Commission Education Committee. Janet Wiles explained that we are receiving nearly $400,000 in additional maintenance of effort.
Prior to the vote, Mr. Allen, Mr. Dippold, Mr. Jones, Mr. Moses, and Ms. Cathey read a disclosure statement.

Action(s):
No Action(s) have been added to this Agenda Item.
Discussion:
Ms. Abernathy stated that Mr. McClaran and Mr. Stacey have requested that one of the Agriculture CTE programs be abolished and replaced with a health science position at Forrest High School. The reasoning for this is more students would be better served with a health science program. There was lengthy discussion concerning this matter. It was determined that the one Agriculture program is ineffective and there needs to be a program that will meet the needs of more students.
