1. Call to Order

Discussion: The Executive Committee of the Marshall County Board of Education, comprised of Chairman of the Board Mike Keny and Director of Schools Jackie Abernathy, spoke by phone Wednesday, August 21, 2013, at approximately 9:10 a.m. to discuss bids for custodial supplies.

2. Bids for Custodial Supplies

Action(s):

Motion Passed:

Since the September board meeting is not scheduled until September 24, following conversations with the remaining board members, and in order to expedite providing schools with custodial supplies, accept UniFirst Corporation's bids and Kelsan bids Passed with a motion by Mr. Mike Keny and a second by Mrs. Jackie Abernathy.

Discussion: Bids for cusdodial supplies were opened Monday, August 19 at 1:00 p.m. in the Central Office. UniFirst Corporation submitted the lowest bids for paper products, green foam soap, and mops. Kelsan submitted the lowest bids for the majority of the remaining items.

Discussion: The meeting adjourned at approximately 9:20 a.m.
