Discussion (Visible on Public Minutes):  Chariman Tucker began the meeting and Kelly Kiser handed each board member a folder of candidate information that will be reviewed today.

Virtual meeting with Ray & Associates at the Denning Center for Candidate Vetting Process and Interview Planning

Discussion (Visible on Public Minutes):  Discussion between Ray and Associates David Falthys and Minnie Forte-Brown regarding the candidate pool, characteristics agreed upon by board members from previous meetings. Recruitment data; where the applicants were nationally located. 23 completed applications were received and vetted, 12-13 incomplete applications, each was called to verify the validity of application status. Of the 23 completed and vetted applicants, David and Minnie presented to the board their top ten candidates. Each board member received information about these candidates, including a Spark video which they reviewed prior to this meeting. Each board member rated these top ten candidates on a matrix form provided by Ray & Associates, then once they completed this matrix, a photo of the matrix was sent via text to Molly, who then tallied the score, then David and Minnie presented the ranking of the 10 candidates. 3 were removed based on rank, which left 7 to go to first round interviews. 
Clarifying questions were asked by the board regarding information the candidates provided or how Ray & Associates scored them.

Interview questions are reviewed and scored by the ranking of the board members to vote if that question will be asked during the interviews. 11 out of 25 questions will be asked, and each board member has been given which question(s) they will be responsible for asking. The candidates will receive the full list of questions, not knowing which questions will be asked. 

Ray and Associates will let the 7 candidates know they will be receiving a call from Cleveland City Schools to schedule the first round Google Meet interview.
