4. Develop superintendent goals for the 2025-2026 school year.
Discussion:
Ben Anderjaska from NASB came to discuss the superintendent's goals for the 2025-2026 school year. Mr. Kelley spoke about some learning moments that he has had since starting as superintendent here in Elba. Mostly budget. The board and superintendent set goals for Educational, Vision, Budget and District Leadership. We also discussed developing a strategic plan. A collective plan for the district. Engage as many stakeholder groups as possible. Surveys for different groups (kids, parents, etc). Community engagement meeting in small group settings. NASB creates a "needs analysis" which will have different strategies to stick with the plan and make sure it gets implemented.
