Description:
This is an opportunity for residents of the district to provide information for the Board when making a decision. We ask that comments be limited to three (3) minutes and encourage the use of a single spokesperson for a group of residents sharing comments regarding a common topic. We request that your public comments focus on issues or policies and not people. The Board's intention is to listen to the ideas, concerns, and thoughts of its constituents, however, the Board may choose not to respond immediately if they have not yet taken a position on a particular topic. Please do not take this as a sign of disinterest and know that the Board values the public's input and feedback.

3.D. Student Board Representatives
Description:
Noahm Dahan is an 8th grade student who is involved in academics, athletics, music, and student leadership. He plays soccer for our Defenders and STN, as well as basketball for WR Jr. High. He is also a member of our chorus and musicals and was selected to participate in the 7th grade Music Fest last year. After serving on our Jr. High Student Council and attending the Leadership Camp this summer, he is excited to serve his classmates as a Board rep. His love for learning, school, and the WR community makes him an excellent choice for this role.

Description:
1. Chloe Whitmoyer, on behalf of FFA Northern Region Conference, is requesting the use of the back parking lot, front parking lot, JR/SR Cafeteria, JR/SR Library and 4 classrooms for breakout workshops on November 12, 2026, from 3:45 PM until 8:30 PM.
2. Chloe Whitmoyer, on behalf of TSA Regional Conference, is requesting the use of the Auditorium, Aux Auditorium. Gym, Back Parking Lot, Front Parking Lot, HS Faculty Lounge, JR/SR Cafeteria, JR/SR Library, LGI, Metal Shop, The Commons, Varsity Gym, Woodshop, Wrestling Room and multiple classrooms as needed on January 30, 2027, from 6:00 AM until 5:30 PM. 3. 5.D. Hall of Fame Committee
Description:
- Review of 2026 inductees Dr. Frank James - Class of 2015 Dr. Frank James, a 2015 graduate of WRHS, quarterback and team leader for our Defender football program. He was also a member of the National Honor Society. After graduating from WR, Frank attended Susquehanna University, where he graduated summa cum laude with a degree in Biomedical Science. He later earned a full scholarship to attend medical school. Today, Dr. James serves as an active duty Captain in the United States Army and works in emergency and trauma medicine, providing care to both military personnel and civilians in a Level I trauma center. Richard S. Remington - Class of 1988 Richard "Rich" Remington, a member of the WR Class of 1988, has built an international career in data science, publishing, and technology. While in high school, Rich was involved in Concert Choir, District and Regional Chorus, Spanish Club, American Field Service Club, NHS, and Video Production Club. He also played the drums in the marching band and served as announcer for track meets. After graduating from Bloomsburg University with a degree in history and a minor in business, Rich went on to complete executive leadership studies through the Harvard Business School. Today, he serves as Senior Vice President, overseeing more than 50 leading scientific journals and global teams of more than 350 professionals. |
