COMMITTEE REPORTS: BUILDING AND GROUNDS: The electrician has been contacted to repair the parking lot lights. EDUCATION: The ESU 16 Board member training workshop is available for any board member. TRANSPORTATION: The route buses have been repaired.

Mr. Nick Brost's Principal's Report: Congratulations to the Students of the Month: Jenika Ornelas, Elijah Armstrong, Nitrous Godbey, Ryker Olsen, Jared Scherbarth and Oscar Ornelas; Adams Bank & Trust Student of the Quarter: Jillian Frerichs; Honor Roll and Honorable Mention Honor Roll students: 76 students were treated to ice cream and brownies for their achievements. Thank you: Tasha Doncheske, Kailey Mays, Peg Dehning, Denise Moorhead and Mr. Spencer for the brownies and ice cream. The One Act Team received Champion and Best Technical Crew at North Platte's Contest in the Blue Bracket; Best Female Actress: Jayla Paulsen; Outstanding Performance Award: Jayla, Ella Stanley, Emily Mulhollen, Emalee Armstrong and Annlyn Wilson. Currency Believers and Achievers Local Winner: Jadyn Babst.
Epiphany Perez, Abyson Pickering and Laila Marshall were selected to perform the National Anthem at the NSAA State Bowling Meet in Lincoln, Feb. 10. Mrs. Spady attended the ESU Librarian meeting in North Platte. At the NHS Blood drive, 23 units of blood were collected. The SHARP Survey was completed with grades 8, 10 and 12. November 17 is the first day of winter sports practice. Several college trips and college representative visits have happened. Wrestling room updates include: a grant received for $10,000 from Adams Bank and Trust. Orders have been placed for the wrestling mat, wrestling dummy and other items specifically for the wrestling room. Other JH Sports updates: JH Wrestling has started. On March 18 South Platte will host the District Speech Meet--there will be no school for students on March 18 and a full day of school on March 25 instead of the originally scheduled 12:45 dismissal. |

Discussion:
Mr. David Spencer's Superintendent's Report: The State Reports are completed thanks to the hard work of Denise. Elementary field trips and Halloween were a great time. There is a ESU 16 Cohort group visitation at North Platte/Stapleton scheduled. The One Act is performing in Cozad this week. The State School Board Convention is November 19-21. The Music program has performed a few concerts for the elementary. For the Staff In-Service ESU 16 presented. Staff and Administration conduct several MTSS meetings throughout the quarter. On November 11 the Veterans Day Program is at 1:00. The Christmas Concerts are K-6 December 8th and 7-12 December 15th.

Holly Christensen presented on behalf of the SPEA. President Van Zee moved the discussion about the 2025-26 Teacher Negotiated Agreement to executive session.

Phil Cole, representative of BCCA, spoke to the board about the practice time and the use of the Brule Gym. The agreement will again be $5,000/ annually, paid in 2 payments. There was a discussion about the BCCA 2025-26.
