TISA Accountability Report Public Comment
Discussion:
The public comment portion of the meeting allowed for the participation of school personnel, parents, students, and any other interested parties to contribute feedback prior to the submission of our TISA Accountability Report to the State Department of Education. Supervisor Rachel Walk offered remarks on the TISA Accountability Report and detailed how the public can find the report and give feedback on the BTCS website. There were no public comments.

Dr. Tudor is recommending that the Board of Education authorize the director of schools to enter into a contract with Brown, Edwards, & Company, L.L.P. for audit services for the Bristol, Tennessee Internal School Funds for the fiscal years ending June 30, 2027, June 30, 2028, and June 30, 2029, at fees not to exceed $17,850, $18,725, and $19,650 respectively, as set forth in the firm's proposal dated October 7, 2026.
