8.D. Administration and Non-Union Employee Salary Schedule
Description:
I am requesting approval of the attached updated Administrator and Non-Union Employee Salary Schedules. Also attached is a spreadsheet showing each administrator's and non-union employee's current and proposed compensation. As applicable, the spreadsheet reflects all contractual compensation, excluding benefits, including base salary, annuity payments, merit pay, and longevity pay.
With the exception of the positions noted below, the salary schedules have been adjusted to provide a 3% increase from 2025-26 to 2026-27 for employees advancing to the next step on the salary schedule (Steps 1-6). Employees at the top of the schedule (Step 7) receive a smaller increase because they do not advance a step; however, they also receive longevity pay based on years of service in the district. I am recommending larger adjustments for the following positions in order to remain competitive with comparable positions in neighboring school districts and the private sector:

I've also attached a list of our EduStaff employees with their current and proposed wage rates along with the proposed % increases.

Also attached is the superintendent’s written response to the Level Three complaint, which is provided as background and context for the Board’s consideration. Because the complaint involves student-specific information protected under FERPA, the Board is expected to review and discuss the matter in closed session, consistent with applicable law. In addition to the written materials provided, Principal Amber Mortensen and I will be available during closed session to provide additional relevant background and answer questions to assist the Board in determining the appropriate next step under Policy 9130.
