2. SUPERINTENDENT'S REPORT
Discussion:
Superintendent Purdy gave a quick update on the high school HVAC project stating that it was almost complete. There are still some leaks in the roof and they are working to address those and repair them. Superintendent Purdy also told the board that our enrollment numbers were at 2,999 as of today. That is good and up from last year. She also informed the board that we had all our personnel positions filled which is great.
She talked about all the Homecoming festivities going on this week. There are dress-up days all week, the bonfire is Thursday night, the tailgate party is before the game on Friday, and the football game will start at 7:00 pm Friday night. Lastly, she talked about the Firefighter 1 course. The students received their gear in the morning and they went to the fire station to congratulate them. There are currently 14 students in the course. |

Discussion:
The board entered into executive session at 6:03 pm to discuss the employment, hiring, appointment, or resignation of support and certified staff as listed in Appendix A, pursuant to 25 O.S. Section 307(B)(1). Those present in executive session were Elvia Hernandez, Carla Hernandez, Lacey Johnston, and Superintendent Dixie Purdy. No action was taken by the board of education.
