The Board of Education of Hermantown Independent School District No. 700 met in regular session on November 27, 2023. Chair, Heather Holst, called the meeting to order at 6:00 P.M.

Discussion:
Mike Pothast presented on the World's Best Workforce Report. Reported the district goals that were in place prior to him taking over this roll and if those goals had been met.

Up one student from last meeting.

XI.B. Blueprint for Success
Discussion:
All groups have met at least once. Some of the first meetings were laying the groundwork and presenting what is already in place. The Community Engagement and Communication groups and the Time for Teachers to Collaborate and Calendar & Bell Schedules groups were combined, as many items overlapped. Will pull groups back together after doing the requested homework that came from meetings.

The City of Hermantown is moving forward with Kraus-Anderson as its contractor for the new arena and voted to move forward with an $18 million budget for the project.
