*A. Personnel Approval/Updates
Instruction:
1. Notice of retirement of Janet Briggs, Instructor, (SC), effective May 31, 2024, position will be filled as soon as possible through internal transfer, normal hiring practices, or temporary employment services.
2. Approval of employment for Alex Caston,  Industrial Maintenance Instructor (GT) full-time temporary, annual salary $40,129, Step 2A, budgeted, 9 month, effective December 1, 2023. Replacing Mike Edwards who retired. Background pending.
3. Approval of change for Alan Hall,  Construction Engineering Technology Instructor (GT) full-time, annual salary $47,760, Step 11A, budgeted, 9 month, effective November 16, 2023. New position.

*B. Out of State Travel Requests
1. After the fact approval of out-of-state travel for Dr. Scott Alsobrooks to travel to Washington, D.C for the 2023 ATE Principal Investigators' Conference on October 24-27, 2023. Expenses will be reimbursed by the conference up to $2,0000 and any expenses thereafter will be paid for with local funds.
2. Approval of out-of-state travel for Dr. James Rush to travel to Washington, D.C for the National Coalition of Predominantly Black Institutions of Higher Education Fly-In Meeting on November 15-17, 2023. Expenses will be paid from local funds.
3. Approval of out-of-state travel for Cynthia Logan and Marilyn Maddox to attend the ACT Conference on December 5-6, 2023, in Tuscaloosa, AL. Expenses will be paid from local funds.
4. Approval of out-of-state travel for Khristina Edmonds, Jan Mullen, Dustin Atkinson, and Shannon Pendergrass to attend the DREAM Conference, February 19-22, 2024, in Orlando, FL.  Expenses will be paid from local funds.
5. Approval of out-of-state travel for Kantrina Barker to attend the ATD Conference, February 19-22, 2024, in Orlando, FL.  Expenses will be paid from local funds.
6. Approval of out-of-state travel for EMCC Cheer Team (Danielle D McDade, Sharon Thompson, Kylie Brown, Cameron Cagle, Sarah Beth Gunter, Jada Harris, Braylee Johnson, Alyissia Joseph, Jayden Lathem, Taylor Lewis, Avery Luke, Kymiah McCann, Gracie McDill, Makenna Reesor, Stazyon Robinson, Precious Stone, Joslyn Turner, Kristian Weatherby, Mary Lee Williams, Jamario Payton) to attend  the UCA College Nationals on January 11-15, 2024 for competition. Expenses will be paid from local funds.
