Rationale:
The 2017 BOE Meeting Schedule has been prepared as per DBS Code: 9321.1 (with the exception of April 2017 in which one Board of Education meeting will be held).

8.2. Approval of SHS Field Trip to Peru
Rationale:
Mrs. Ines Dunn and Mr. Carlos Mezger, SHS teachers in the World Language program request Board approval of a field trip to Peru from February 17, 2017 to February 26, 2017 for students in the World Language program. The trip to Peru will allow students the opportunity to put what they have learned in the classroom in context by actually living, seeing, and experiencing the language, historical events and different culture.

Rationale:
Principals Jennifer Oliver (SES) and Clay Krevolin (MBA) will present the 2015 Science CMT and SBAC results for Grades 5 and 8. Gary Cotzin, Principal at Somers High School, will present the Grade 10 Science CAPT and SAT.
