Rationale:  Hartford Restoration Services, Inc. has submitted its second payment application for the Somers Elementary School Partial Roof Replacement Project in the amount of $334,096.00  The application has been reviewed and certified for payment by our project architect, Silver/Petrucelli + Associates, Inc.  Acting in its role as the School Building Committee for this project, it is the Board's responsibility to approve this payment application.

Rationale:  Silktown Roofing, Inc. has submitted its second payment application for the Somers High School Partial Roof Replacement Project in the amount of $419,444.00  The application has been reviewed and certified for payment by our project architect, Silver/Petrucelli + Associates, Inc.  Acting in its role as the School Building Committee for this project, it is the Board's responsibility to approve this payment application.

Rationale:  Robert Rossetti, Math Teacher at Somers High School, has handed in his letter of resignation effective as of August 13, 2015.

Rationale:  Kathleen Pezza, Director of Curriculum, has submitted her letter of resignation effective as of August 21,2015.

Rationale:  Lisa Baruzzi, Language Arts Tutor at Mabelle B. Avery Middle School, has submitted her letter of resignation.

Rationale:  Dana Sudarsky has requested a leave of absence for the 2015-2016 school year due to family medical reasons.

Rationale:  Per BOE policy, enclosed please find the proposed 2014-2015 Operating Budget Transfers as presented.

Rationale:  The superintendent will update the board on facilities, staff and programs for the start of the 2015-2016 school year.

Rationale:  Bill Boutwell, Director of Business Services, will provide the board with an activities account report and be available to answer any of their questions.

Rationale:  There will be a PowerPoint report on building goals.  Building administrators will be available to answer any questions board members may have.
