Rationale:
Ms. Kathleen Pezza, Director of Curriculum will give a PowerPoint presentation regarding Literacy/English. Mr. Jim Morrow will give a verbal report to the board regarding technology integration in the district. Both will be available to answer any questions board members may have.

Rationale:
We are pleased to receive notification that the Somers Public Schools publication Campus View has received Honorable Mention in the CABE Award of Excellence for Educational Communications contest.

8.1. Approval of Long-Range Plan
Rationale:
A copy of the Long-Range Plan is provided for all board members to review. Mr. Potrikus has made recommendations for the board to consider in approving a final version of the Long-Range Plan. These recommendations should be part of the board's discussion. After discussing all recommendations by all members the board can move to adopt a new Long-Range Plan.

Rationale:
