Rationale:
The superintendent will call the meeting to order and following the pledge of allegiance will seek nominations from the floor for the election of board officers.

Rationale:
As per BOE policy DBS Code: 9120, the board shall organize at the meeting held the second Monday in September in non-election years. The superintendent will seek nominations from the floor. Officers will then be voted upon and take effect immediately.
