Rationale:  Ms. Pezza will give an overview of the 2008-09 CMT and CAPT results. An executive summary is provided.  If you should have any questions Ms. Pezza will answer them during her presentation.

Rationale:  A new organization chart has been drafted for the 2009-10 school year.  This chart reflects all current staffing.  Please note the elimination of the CST positions from the 2008-09 school year as a significant change in our organizational structure.  This policy is included for second warning/adoption.

Rationale:  The current bylaw of the BOE DBS Code: 9120 is somewhat misleading and possibly unclear.  In order to ensure for clarity the Policy Committee is recommending that the wording "no sooner than" be added to this bylaw.  This policy is now included for adoption.

Rationale:  The 2010 BOE meeting schedule has been formed in accordance with DBS Code:9321 and past practice.  Meetings are held at 7:00 p.m. in the MBA BOE meeting room unless specified otherwise on the meeting agenda.

Rationale:  The superintendent will address the Open Choice Academic and Social Supports Grant.  A description has been provided for your interest.  Ms. Pezza submitted the application and Somers was awarded $26,850.  The superintendent and Ms. Pezza will answer any questions you may have. 

Rationale:  An outline of a proposed audio system for the BOE meeting room has been provided by Peter Stone, Media Specialist.  The system that he is proposing can be installed either permanently or used as a portable system.  Some of the components from the SHS board meeting room arrangement may be used but as you will notice the system for the new MBA board room will require new equipment.  We should discuss the options for installing an audio system for the board room.

Rationale:  The enrollment figures reflect a drop in enrollment by 4 students, 2 at SES and 2 at SHS.  The changes are due to families moving out of town.
