Summer Work Update
Discussion:
Most projects are complete .... there a few items that will be wrapped up in the next couple of weeks (gym floors, touch-up painting, painted floors, etc). Alan, Hal, Noah, Cindy, Laurie, Kassandra, and Korey have done an outstanding job this year. Thank you to everyone's hard work and perseverance in the hot weather.

State Assessment Scores
Discussion:
Mr. Gebhard went over the state assessment scores with the board. These were also reviewed by the DLT (district leadership team) and recommendations were made that would enable students to improve their test scores over the next five years. The board will review those recommendations and ensure the budget addresses those at the September board meeting.

Superintendent / 9-12 Principal Report
Discussion:
Mr. Tharman shared about the upcoming in-service and the first couple of days back-to-school. Practices will be starting up, open houses, and sporting events. Enrollment numbers are down a little from the September 20th count date .... but actually up from where we ended the school year. It is a busy, but exciting time.

Mr. Gebhard shared about the upcoming bus driver's meeting, KHP vehicle inspection, Paras, maintenance projects, and the open house for the grade school and middle school.
