5.A. Consider action to approve possible budget amendments to the 2023-24 Official Budget

5.B. Consider dedication of Fund Balance from the 2023-24 Budget

5.C. Consider action to adopt Ballinger ISD's 2024-2025 Official Operating Budget by Fund and Function for Funds 199 and 161.

5.D. Consider adopting the Ballinger ISD's 2024-2025 Food Service Budget (101) by Fund and Function

5.E. Consider adopting the 2024 Year Tax Rate by Ordinance which is for the 2024-2025 School Year

5.F. Consider approving the 2024 Certified Tax Roll

5.G. Consider approving a resolution setting Minimum Fund Balance for 2024-2025

5.H. Consider committing the Fund Balance for 2023-2024 School Year after Final Audited Numbers of the 2023-2024 Budget are completed as allowed by GASB 54

5.I. Consider action to increase The 2024-2025 BISD Pay Scale for Teachers, Counselors & Librarians and increase the pay for hourly and administrative staff by a set amount to help cover the increasing cost of health insurance. 

5.J. Consider action to approve a Comprehensive Insurance Plan for Ballinger ISD for the 2024-25 school year.

5.K. Consider action to approve the Memorandum of Understanding with Angelo State University as the Educator Preparation Program (EPP), 2) the Ballinger Independent School District as the Local Education Agency (LEA), and 3) the Region 15 Educational Service Center as the Technical Assistance Provider (TAP), Partners in Texas Strategic Staffing (TSS).

6. Executive Session

6.A. Pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 552.0821, deliberation and possible action regarding a matter involving a public school student which may reveal personally identifiable information about the student.

6.B. Pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 551.074, to deliberate the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of a public officer or employee.

6.C.  Pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 551.076, deliberation and possible action regarding matters of school safety and security

7. Return to Open Session and take any action deemed necessary upon discussion in the closed meeting.
