Information shared with the Board on June 14, 2022 and July 18, 2022. Following the public meeting, the Board may consider the adoption of the 2022-2023 budget and tax rate.

Description:
A class size waiver is required to be submitted to Texas Education Agency for any class size from Kindergarten through 4th grade above 22:1 student/teacher ratio.

8.J. Consideration and possible action regarding the Texas Teacher Evaluation and Support System (TTESS) appraisers for the 2022-2023 school year
Description:
The Teacher Evaluation and Support System (T-TESS) appraiser has a vital role in evaluating teaching and learning in order to provide meaningful feedback to staff. Appraisers support teacher efforts to improve instruction and student performance through observations and feedback. The T-TESS evaluation system requires that all appraisers successfully complete initial training and pass a certification exam prior to conducting formal observations. Experienced administrators must also pass a recertification exam that helps appraisers calibrate their observations and deepen their understanding of the T-TESS rubric.
