6.1. Superintendent
Discussion:
Mr Hoesing touched on the NASB/NRCA upcoming dates for workshops. He also noted the negotiations committee will start the negotiations process soon. The superintendent's evaluation will be sent to each board member soon.
Mr. Anderson and Mrs. Heimes have been working on teacher evaluations, and he will have Mr. Anderson and Mrs. Heimes' evaluations completed in December. Aquesst preliminary results are out, and he will forward the results to the board soon. He touched on facilities updates and noted we are getting great feedback from companies interested in bidding the track project. Lastly, during the strategic planning discussions, he would like to meet with several parents/community groups to see if we can bring them into our planning. He also thanked all the board members for all their work leading to the bond election. |

6.2. Principal/Activities Reports
Discussion:
Mr. Anderson spoke about the NCA Leadership Summit. Mr. Johnston will take 8 students to this event. It's a great event for our students to experience and be introduced to the leadership techniques. The Veterans Day program will be held tomorrow at 10am and invite all to attend and honor our Veterans. The Juniors completed the AT on October 18th. It's part of our plan in regard to test prep and taking the test in October to receive information by late November. We will continue to work on areas and adjusting in the areas needed for the December and January tests. He noted Mrs. Gragert took sophomores to WSC career day and also took 7 girls to UNMC event centered around the nursing profession. The academic contents at WSC was last Wednesday and competed very well. Teacher evaluations are taking place.
Mrs. Heimes discussed the in-school savings program is off to a great start. 6th Graders attended hands-on STEM sessions October 23rd at the Edgerton Exploratory Center in Madison. Mr. Johnston hosted our October professional development session on Artificial Intelligence in Educaston. The MTSS team attended the Nebraska MTSS Roadshow in Kearney. The book vending machines is going reat. 122 books have been arned since September 1, 2025 |

Discussion:
Village of Wausa is requesting assistance for funds to screen the auditorium gym floor. Last year it was $300.00. If not all groups contribute, will Wausa be willing to contribute more? Mr. Hoesing said he would discuss with the board and asked for a formal invoice or request.

7.2. Audit Update
Discussion:
Mr. Hoesing presented the preliminary Audit findings. Wausa is in compliance and the Audit went really well. The Annual Financial report has been officially submitted to the NDE
