Marcia Herring of Nebraska Association of School Boards presented the Strategic Plan compiled by her after meeting with our administration, board, staff, and students.

9.2.1. Elementary Principal
Discussion:
Met with staff this morning. Had 7th grade orientation tonight, along with Elementary Walk to School night. There will be an elementary pep rally Wednesday morning. Upcoming events in the elementary are Curriculum Night, Grandparents Day, and Veterans Day program. Have been processing drop/adds for secondary students. Attended Administrator Days in July.

9.2.2. Secondary Principal
Discussion:
Met with staff this morning. ESU6 staff will present Marzano training tomorrow morning. Have been managing SCC dual credit courses. Secondary teachers will make a plan for the Solar Eclipse. The buildings and grounds are in great shape. Five exchange students are enrolled this year. Planning a career day trip to UNL on September 26.

Discussion:
Several upcoming workshops are scheduled. NASB Area Membership is in York on September 13. State school board conference is in LaVista on November 15-17 . The Purple Ribbon Meat group hosted a donor dinner last Friday. ReVision grant meeting will be held on September 7 at 11am. The key fob system has been installed, and fobs checked out to all staff members. If a community members want a fob, they must complete an application and pay a $20 deposit. Next month, we will have our Budget hearing.
