1. Update on ECFE Registration
Description:
Just a quick exciting update. I have many families already excited and registered for our fall ECFE classes (which will begin the week of Sept 19th). Our one weekday we have building space for (Fridays) is bursting at the seams with a significant waiting list. From what I have understood, after the move is made to the beautiful new facility, there might be opportunity to have space to offer another daytime section? I am very careful to not make any promises to families, things are ever moving, but am just hopeful this might be a possibility. 2. Removing Robert Skuza's Hire from Board Agenda
Description:
We will not be hiring Robert Skuza as a transportation driver. Sue said he accepted a job elsewhere. |
3. Adding Heather Britz's Resignation Letter to Board Agenda
Description:
Please see attached a resignation letter from Heather Britz. I recommend adding it to the board agenda on Monday. Phil received and forwarded it to me after the board packet was published. |
4. Adding Roseanne Tripp as a Hire in the Board Agenda
Description:
The third and final proposed amendment to the published agenda. |
5. Contract for HR-Payroll
Description:
The contract for Kelsie is attached in Monday's board agenda. After receiving feedback from the board members who got back to me and visiting with Kelsie, both sides agreed to the new new salary at the beginning of year one and a step only in year two. |
6. Friday LTFM Quotes/Proposals
Description:
Please see attached this week's LTFM quotes/proposals. Remember to email me your approval by the end of the day on Monday. Thanks! Notes: 1. Don't even look at the cost of abatement because you'll be ill. We have no choice and this is a good price relatively speaking. It is higher because of it being weekend work, but we cannot close down the tech ed hallway to all of the other trades working in shops and science labs. 2. We budgeted approximately $300,000 of the new LTFM dollars to upgrade the existing temperature control system at the MS-HS. We took it out of the project dollars knowing LTFM would more than likely become available. The nice thing is we're also getting new valves that were not in the original plan at a cost savings of several tens of thousands of dollars. |
