1. Solar Panels
Description:
Andrea Lauer visited with me this morning to share good news about possible solar panels for Royalton School District. She could not provide me any details. This morning is the first time I've heard about it. The solar project would be financially supported by Excel Energy and NJPA. I don't know how much of the project they're willing to cover. I will share the details as I receive them in the next few days. |

2. Request of Out of State Travel for Superintendent
Description:
In the January 11th board agenda I will have an action item to approve my request to attend the AASA National Conference on Education. The national superintendent conference this year is in Phoenix, Ariz. from Feb. 11-13, 2016. I attached a similar estimated budget Phil and Mary provided for their national conferences. Many superintendents and principals attend a national conference every other or every third year. None of us have made these requests for several years. It's my first request since being hired in January 2010. |
