8. History of Roof Replacements
Description:
We're working with ARY and Winkelman on the roof replacements for our existing buildings. I thought you may be curious the last time different areas of each building were replaced. Please find attached a document illustrating the history of when we replaced our elementary roofs. 1. The number inside each separate colored area is the age of the building. For example, the light blue area was built in 1965. 2. Under “Roofing Dates” it tells us when the roof for that colored are was last replaced. For example, the light blue area was replaced in 2004. Unfortunately, it’s not all that simple. The one exception is the light green area for classrooms 128-139. These classrooms were replaced in 2011. The other light green area for classroom 119 was replaced in 1986. Other important info: 1. The pink area is a rock roof 2. The dark green area and light green area for classroom 119 are built up roofs AKA pitch and tar 3. All other areas are adhered roofs Please find attached a document illustrating the history of when we built & replaced our MS-HS roofs. 1. The red areas were built in 1996 and are the original ballasted roofs 2. The blue areas were built in 1971 and ALL of it was replaced with an adhered roof in 1997. There was extra money remaining in the construction budget to replace the roofs in the blue areas. |
