1. Springsted's Research and Planning Process for Referenda
Description:
Liz, Dale, Mary and I recently attended a day long workshop on planning for our building referendum. The presenters were Don Lifto and Stacy Childers from Springsted and Carrie Ardito from Ardito Creative. Please find attached the eight different modules they use for this type of workshop. You don't have the benefit of listening and asking Don and the other presenters questions, but I still think it'd be valuable to page through each module presentation. Module 3 is the one we entered into Monday evening with a board consensus to go forward with the community survey. Module 4 is the next big item I'll be working on with the support of others. It is important we begin to identify tri-chairpersons to lead each of the three major areas (see slide 15). it is recommended we have co-chairs serving together for each tri-chair position, if that makes sense. |

2. Liability Coverage for Student Trips Outside the USA

3. Human Rights Complaint
Description:
Please find attached CONFIDENTIAL documents related to a human rights concern brought forward by a student's parent. In a letter received by the Minnesota Department of Education it stated, “No Probable Cause to believe that you engaged in an unfair discriminatory practice.” Of course No Probable Cause was determined because we do not discriminate against our students and families based on their race, color or religion. This particular family had to be reported for educational neglect. And sometimes this is their defensive response...making false accusations. |

4. Prom 2014
Description:
In the attached document is a BLUE link to some fun photos of Prom 2014. The pictures were taken at the Pine Peaks Event Center. Too funny. The videos make the prom look like a classic high school dance. Our girls were dancing with each other on one side of the dance floor and the guys were trying stunts on the other end. |
