1. 510 School Activities
Description:
At Jordan we hold our student athletes to high standards, and our captains and leaders even higher. It is a privilege, not a right to be named a captain and leader in our MSHSL activities. The expectation is that these student athletes are role models for future generations and their behavior is reflective of that. It's not often that someone in a leadership role accumulates MSHSL violations but it can happen. Many times coaches need to select captains, and these decisions can be inconsistent when it comes to students with chemical violations. It also is a hot button talker for parents as well. This policy revision will take the pressure of our coaching staff as it will be a district policy and not a coaching decision.
