1. Call to Order and Pledge of Allegiance

Board President Desh called the special meeting to order at 6:00 p.m.
Board President Desh led the board members and patrons in attendance in the Pledge of Allegiance.

2. Announcement of the Open Meetings Act Posting

Board President Desh identified the location of the Open Meetings Act Poster on the meeting room wall.
- Special note: Copies of the updated (2026) Open Meetings Act documents were made available at the meeting.
  - A copy of the Open Meetings Act is also attached to this agenda item.

Motion to approve the 2026-2027 district budget as discussed. Passed with a motion by Dee Moore and a second by Josh Penterman.

Discussion:

Board President Desh led the board members in a discussion about adjusting the previously publicized district budget document.
The overall Personal and Real Property Tax Requirement listed in the budget document was lowered to $9,834,792 (a decrease of $468,687 from the originally published budget of $10,303,479) at the Monday, September 14th, 2026, Budget Hearing.
The adjusted district budget will be posted within established deadlines in accordance with all state reporting requirements.
The adjusted Summary of Changes documents are attached to this agenda item.

The adjusted tax request will be posted within established deadlines in accordance with all state reporting requirements.
The adjusted Summary of Changes documents are attached to this agenda item.
