1. Call Hearing to Order
Discussion:
President Rainforth called the hearing to order at 6:00 PM.

2. Roll call taken on acknowledgment and reception of meeting notice and agenda.
Discussion:
President Rainforth acknowledged that PUBLIC NOTICE was hereby given, in compliance with the provisions of State Statute Sections 13-501 to 13-513, that the governing body is meeting on the 9th day of September 2024 at 6:00 o'clock PM, at the Board Room for the purpose of hearing support, opposition, criticism, suggestions or observations of taxpayers relating to the following proposed budget and to consider amendments relative thereto. Notice of the hearing was given in advance by publication appearing in the August 29, 2024, edition of the Doniphan Herald in accordance with the Board approved method for giving notice of hearings and in line with the State of Nebraska legislative requirements.

3. Budget Presentation
Discussion:
Dr. Braden provided an overview of the budget, its development, historical and future view of the budget.

4. Open the hearing for public comment:
The Special Budget Hearing is open for the purpose of hearing support, opposition, criticism, suggestions, or observations of taxpayers related to the proposed 2024-2025 budget.
Discussion:
The hearing was opened at 6:00 PM. No members of the public wished to provide support, opposition, criticism, suggestions or observations before the board regarding the proposed 2024-2025 budget.

President Rainforth closed the hearing at 6:19 PM.
