                                        2. Review changes to noncertified payscale                 
        Discussion: 
Lynn presented the changes being made to the noncertified pay scale rationale for those changes to the board committee members.       |

                                        3. Review superintendent recommendations for principals and other certificated professionals not covered by the AEA agreement.                 
        Discussion: 
Lynn presented array and settlement information pertaining to these positions.  The board committee members discussed what information is important for them to consider when making salary decisions.  They identified a desire to attract and retain quality employees by affording all categories of employees equitable compensation.  The goal is that administrators and professional staff be at or near the middle of a comparative array while taking into consideration years of experience and performance.  Lynn also presented information on any other changes to these contracts.  The nurse contract is being changed to a salary structure that is consistent with the two districts closest to Arlington while language to other professional contracts was unchanged.       |

                                        4. Recommendations to the board as a result of this committee meeting.                 
        Discussion: 
 The board negotiation committee with the support of superintendent is recommending the following salaries for the principals in the 2017-2018 school year: Aaron Pfingsten $97,200; Jacque Morgan $84,800; James Shada $83,800. The board negotiations committee is recommending the following salary of $138,045 for the superintendent for the 2017-18 school year. |
