Discussion:
Vice President Scheer read the Americanism quote. Currently the United States Supreme Court is preparing to rule on the case of birthright citizenship. Here is a quote from 250 years ago that is relevant to that case. In 1776, the British Crown had subjects under their control, all over the world but our founding fathers wanted to absolve that allegiance. James Wilson, a signer of the Declaration of Independence said, "Under the Constitution of the United States there are citizens, but no subjects."
