2.1. MSP Grant Proposal

Discussion:
Executive Director discussed the NMPDA Math grant. This is the last year of a 3 year grant. ESEA has reauthorized and the MSP Grant will no longer be funded. Received the RFP proposal from NDE, deadline for submission May 2, 2016. Dave Ludwig, Deb Hericks, Helen Banzhaf met with Neal Grandgennet and Elliott Ostler from UNO to get their views on the submission. We can submit an application Math, Science, or one for both. ESU 16 interested in submitting for the KICKS side. ESUCC could submit on behalf of the NMPDS. Discussions held regarding the capacity of ESUCC to write and submit a proposals.
