        Discussion: 
The regular board meeting was called to order by President Steve Vyhnalek at 8:00 pm.  The Pledge of Allegiance was recited.  President Vyhnalek confirmed the advance notice to the public of the meeting and agenda.     | |

                                        7.1. Principal's Report                 
        Discussion: 
Summer Reading and Math Camps served 50 students.  The summer meals program served 40-50 children daily on average.  New Teacher Orientation was Aug. 9th.  Professional Development plans include Hope Science Training, MTSS, and training on the new science curriculum.     | |

                                        7.2. Superintendent's Report                 
        Discussion: 
Mr. Cogswell attended Administrator Days, in Kearney and EL Training in Lincoln.  He talked about all the painting, organizing, and cleaning that took place over the summer.  Open Sky Policy Institute asked Dorchester to come and present on September 18th regarding what we are doing with our EL education.     | |

Mr.Cogswell shared with the board some donations that were given to the school to help cover the costs of the wall mats and shot clock.     | |

        Discussion: 
Mr. Cogswell discussed the increase in cost of the school's insurance with the board.     | |

        Discussion: 
Mr. Cogswell briefly talked about the current legislative special session, LB9, the Governor's plan for property tax relief.     | |
