Dolly Lastine, Executive Director of Special Education, will share a short video clip from WCCO of a student from Wayzata Public Schools who receives itinerant services from Don Vavrosky, Teacher of the Blind/Visually Impaired.  Don Vavrosky will briefly discuss innovative services for students who are Blind/Visually Impaired.      |

                                        8.1. Minnesota Destination Participation at the Asian Pacific Invitational                 
        Description: 
Pamela Schroeder, Minnesota Affiliate Director for Destination Imagination (DI) and the Board Chair for the international DI program, will describe her recent trip to China where she headed the US delegation at the Asian Pacific Invitational, participated in a televised education conference, and lectured at the University of Beijing. Four Minnesota DI teams competed in the DI and National Geographic co-sponsored event where the Anoka-Hennepin team placed second in the world in the structure challenge. Board members also will receive information about the upcoming tournament season in Minnesota, which is coordinated through District 287 as part of our Gifted Education Services.     |

        Description: 
Chad Maxa will provide an update on the District’s involvement with PreciouStatus, an innovative communication tool that allows real-time, private updates of activities, learning’s, photos/videos in Childcare, Schools, and Healthcare Facilities.     |

                                        9.3. Human Resource Report                  |
