***MSBA Model Policy 208—Development, Adoption, and Implementation of Policies—states: If a policy is modified with minor changes that do not affect the substance of the policy or because of a legal change over which the school board has no control, the modified policy may be approved at one meeting at the discretion of the school board. A school district may determine that the three items above are minor and/or reflect a legal change over which the school board has no control.

6.B. Congratulations to the One Act Play cast & crew for their wonderful performance at the State Festival.  Although they did not receive a "star" this year, their performance was highly praised by judges and they were excellent representatives of Bagley High School.

6.C. Congratulations to Bagley High School’s MSHSL’s Triple A award winners - seniors Cori Bonik and Samuel Scherzer. Cori and Sam were recognized at the Region 8A Triple A Banquet in Mahnomen, along with the winners from the other Region 8A schools. Congratulations Cori and Samuel!

9.A. RESOLUTION ACCEPTING GIFTS/DONATIONS TO INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT #162–BAGLEY
WHEREAS the following; therefore, BE IT RESOLVED by the School Board of Independent School District #162–Bagley School Board does hereby accept the following donation:

* $22,500 From CCMHC for the School Interventionist & Mental Health Services
* $405.98 From Gary Bratvold for the 2019 High Flyer Scholarship
* $1,650.00 From DNR Bud Capping for the School Forest

9.B. Caretaker/Manager of the Bagley Petty Cash and Bagley Petty Cash Travel Funds
Angela Gerbracht, Business Manager, as Caretaker/Manager of the Bagley Petty Cash and Bagley Petty Cash Travel Funds.

9.F. BES Elevator Modernization Project
The elevator has been "Red Tagged" by the Dept of Labor & Industry and removed from service. In order to be approved for operation it has to be repaired and modernized to comply with current State codes.
Otis Elevator - $56,900
Larson Elevator - $61,302.41
Recommendation to accept Otis Proposal
The total cost of the project is eligible for LTFM funding.

9.G. Staffing

9.G.1) Hire - Haley Hadrava, Achievement & Integration Home School Liaison
Contingent upon receipt of a satisfactory background check.

9.G.2) Resignation - Brian Tronnes, bus driver, effective February 14, 2020

9.H. Snow Removal Estimate for BES - $8,800
The estimate includes removal of snow from areas of the roof where the snow is currently 3 feet or more deep.  Where necessary, the removal snow will be trucked to an off grounds location.
