Mediation and arbitration meetings - $150/day.  Ongoing committee such as Leadership Teams - $150/day - $75/half day.

Reimbursement for those who travel on school business at $0.50/mile.  When personal vehicles are used for travel at the request of the employee, no reimbursement will be made unless the transportation director confirms a school vehicle was not available.

The Local Board of Education of Independent School District #162 has authorized Steve Cairns, at a monthly meeting held on January 5, 2015, for the calendar year 2015 to act as the LEA Representative in filing an application for funds as provided under Public Law 103-382.  The LEA Representative will ensure that the school district maintains compliance with the appropriate Federal statutes, regulations, and State
procedures currently in effect and will act as the responsible authority in all matters relating to the administration of this application.  Lee Furuseth is authorized as Contact Person for Title I and Title II Part A.

4.A. Cancel Bid Award 2015-7 for 75 - M2800 Dell Laptops to SHI.
The low bidder, SHI, was to include a minimum of 12 GB RAM in the laptops for the quoted price of $85,146.75, but it does not.   The company SHI is unwilling/unable to deliver the laptops in accordance with the minimum specifications and requirements of the RFP, at the price they quoted. Casey, Brenda and I recommend the Bagley School Board cancel this bid award.

4.B. Re-Award Bid 2015-7
The next lowest bidder received on December 11, 2015, was Tierney Brothers for $94,425.00.  These new M2800 Dell Laptops contain 16 GB RAM.  Tierney's bid does meet all minimum specifications as stated in the requirements of the original RFP. Casey, Brenda and I recommend the Bagley School Board re-award Bid 2015-7 for 75 M2800 Dell Laptops to Tierney Brothers.

4.C. FYI - The attached spreadsheet represents the changes indicated.  The new total for the Bagley School District 1:1 project initiative is $832,632.79.
