December 9, 2013 at 9:00 AM - SAA Weekly Meeting

Rationale:  1.  Facility use:  Please make sure if an outside group uses our facilities, they put things back in order before they leave.  Also, if someone uses kitchen facilities, they cannot use the food to supplement their meals.

2.  Certificated Staff Negotiations:  We have a tentative agreement with certificated staff for the 2014-15 school year.  The board will consider this recommendation this evening.

3.  Strategic Planning:  Thanks for your work on Friday to facilitate our staff in the the strategic planning workshop.  I need your help in identifying parents to participate in this workshop.  Suggest 4 from each main building and 2 from each of the other buildings and school activities (20 Total).

4.  Staff Evaluations:  Please make sure all probationary certificated staff have completed evaluations for the first semester.  Observations must be for a minimum of one period.  Also, please submit your staff observation schedules for September-December along with your self-evaluation by December 20th.  We will begin working on 2014-15 administrative contracts in January, so evaluations must be completed. 

5.  2014-15 Planning:  I will present a second semester schedule for 2014-15 programs, staffing, schedule, calendar, requisition/inventory, budget, etc... in January.
