Rationale:
Members of the Killingly community are encouraged to share their thoughts with the Board of Education and are invited to do so during this segment of the meeting. When appropriate to do so, members of the Board and the administration may respond to comments. However, in consideration of those in attendance and in an effort to proceed in a timely manner, follow-up discussion may need to take place outside of the meeting setting.

5. Motion Regarding Non-Renewal Hearing Procedures
Recommended Motion(s):
Motion moved that the Board authorize the law firm of Shipman and Goodwin, acting on behalf of the Board, to commence the non-renewal hearing concerning Jodi Petrozak under Section 10-151 of the Connecticut General Statutes by conducting a procedural telephone conference with the parties' representatives on or before April 29, 2011. {Insert Action Result} with a motion by {Insert Board Member} and a second by {Insert Board Member}.
