7. Spotlight on Learning and Good News — John Hauser
Rationale:
It’s been great to have our staff and students back in our buildings. Our teachers returned a week ago last Monday and have spent the past several days participating in curriculum work and training, welcoming our new teachers through orientation, and coming together for our all-staff pre service activities. Now, the best part is having our students back in the buildings. I want to recognize and thank our entire HPS staff for the professionalism, preparation, and commitment they have shown throughout the start of the school year. A tremendous amount of work goes into preparing for students to return, and our staff have done an outstanding job of making sure our schools are ready and our students feel welcomed. It has been a very positive start, and I appreciate the work of everyone across the district who has helped us begin another successful school year. |
