E.2.a. District administration recommends approval to table the adoption of teacher-created grades 3-5 Social Studies curriculum. This curriculum has been developed by District Professional Development Specialist, Megan Larson, and teacher leaders. It was piloted and revised during the 2025-2026 school year. Dr. Tabetha Finchum and Megan Larson will provide an overview. Pending Board approval, the resource would be tabled for a sixty-day period for public review and comment.

E.3.a. District administration recommends approval of the District Goals and Initiatives for the 2026-2027 school year. There are no revisions to the text of the Goals or Initiatives in comparison to the prior year. Both documents now include the Vision statement, "Potential Finds Opportunity," at the top, and the design and layout of the Initiatives document have been updated.

F.1.a. District administration recommends approval of a revision to Policy GBCA to add a new experience step for non-exempt support staff, increasing the hourly rate for all eligible employees who have completed their seventeenth year in the District by $0.40/hour. The accompanying policy draft includes blue text to indicate additions. This item was presented for discussion during the May 26, 2026, Board Meeting, and no questions or concerns have been raised since then.

G.1. Recommend Approval to Contract with Oculens LLC for School Safety and Security Systems
|
|
G.1.a. District administration recommends approval to contract with Oculens LLC for the purchase of hardware and licensing to provide school safety and security systems at Flowing Wells High School, Sentinel Peak High School, and Flowing Wells Junior High, utilizing state contract pricing through 1GPA (1GPA 25-08PV; and 1GPA 25-07P-22). The systems would include restroom environmental sensors to detect vaping, smoke, and excessive noise, exterior cameras located outside of restrooms, and video intercom systems for access control into rooms located outside of the main campus fenced area. Total cost is anticipated to be $172,134.29 and would be paid out of the Spring 2026 Bond sale proceeds.

G.2.a. District administration recommends approval to contract with Epic One Builders to remodel the boys’ and girls’ restrooms in the Flowing Wells High School E Building and outside the cafeteria. The purchase will utilize pricing obtained by collecting quotes from three different vendors and determining that Epic One Builders offers the best price. The costs of the two restroom remodels are listed below and will not exceed $160,000. The funding source for this expenditure is bond funds.

G.5. Recommend Approval to Purchase Teacher Laptops
|
|
G.5.a. District administration recommends approval to purchase 150 teacher laptops and 14 docking stations from Dell at a total cost of approximately $238,643.02. The laptops would replace current teacher computers at the six elementary schools and Emily Meschter Early Learning Center and would complete the two-year phased upgrade. This purchase would utilize state contract pricing under State Contract CTR068890. We have evaluated pricing for comparable products from other vendors and found Dell's pricing to be fair and reasonable. FY2026-2027 District Additional Assistance funding would be utilized for the purchase.
