H.1. Discussion of Mid-Year Analysis of Revenues and Expenses for Flowing Wells Community Schools Programs
|
|
H.1.a. District administration presents for discussion the FY2026 mid-year report on the revenues and expenses related to Community Schools. The report for Y.E.S. programs and the EMELC employee tuition preschool program shows an operating deficit of $121,776. However, the Community Schools fund still has a positive fund balance of $1,148,523 after accounting for the shortfall. For comparison, the FY2025 mid-year analysis showed a shortfall of $111,778. Although the Board approved increases to Y.E.S. and preschool tuition rates for the current year, the increases have not kept pace with increased compensation and contributions for employee benefits.
