11.A. BE IT RESOLVED that the Douglas Board of Education, in accordance with Board Policy BBB, hereby sets the Douglas School District Board Election for June 6, 2023. Polls will be open from 7:00 am until 7:00 pm.

Rationale:
The District has been working with the City to work out an agreement in order to hold a concurrent election with the City. There have been some recent questions as to the ability of the City to do so. The City Legal Department is currently working on details to see what might be possible. If the District is able to hold a concurrent election with the City of Box Elder, we will do so at the Box Elder Community Center. If we are not able to hold a concurrent election, we will hold our individual election at Vandenberg Elementary School. Regardless, the election will be held on Tuesday, June 6th from 7am - 7pm. We will update with information and an agreement (if applicable) when we receive further information.
