We are proud to announce that 5 of our schools – a district record in one year – have been named a Reward School by the Tennessee Department of Education for the 2024-2025 academic year. Reward School status is the top state distinction a school can earn in Tennessee. Congrats to our Reward Schools: Ashland City Elementary STEM Academy Kingston Springs Elementary School Pleasant View Elementary School West Cheatham Elementary School Sycamore High School TDOE released its annual list of Reward Schools, which recognizes top tier schools in a comprehensive measure that includes achievement scores, growth scores, chronic absenteeism, English Learner proficiency, graduation rates, and Ready Graduate preparation. Students in grades 3-11 are tested each year in core subject areas that include math, social studies, and English/Language Arts. This is a huge accomplishment that takes a lot of hard work from both our staff and students, along with a great commitment to supporting the school from our community!
