1. Opening The Meeting:

1.1. Call to order: The Work Session of the Centura Public Schools' Board of Education is called to order on Friday, February 20, 2026 at 7:30 AM  in the Board Room 201 Highway 11, Cairo, NE 68824.

1.2. Pledge of Allegiance and Recognition of Nebraska Open Meetings Act.

1.3. Roll Call of Board Members:

1.3.1. Motion to excuse or not excuse Board Members not in attendance.

1.4. Centura Vision Statement: A Community About Students, Excellence and Innovation!

1.5. Centura Mission Statement: Centura and its collaborative partners are an innovative community empowering all students to be successful today and in the future. 

2. Approval of the Agenda.

3. Recognition of visitors and public comment per Centura Public Schools Policy No. 2009.

4. Work Session Discussion/Information Items:

• Components of the Fitness Classroom/Center — ADA Compliance
• What to consider when developing the bond request questions?

2) Narrow down the scope to be voted on during a Special Meeting on 2-25-26
3) Work through the wording for the bond request
4) Schedule Community Meetings and a communication plan from the board.
