5.A. Discuss, consider and take all necessary action to approve the teaching contract of Gregory Yochum.
Discussion:
Mr. Patterson shared with the board that Mr. Yochum has previously taught in the school district and he recommended that the board approve the teaching contract.

5.B. Discuss, consider and take all necessary action to approve the proposed 2023-2024 superintendent contract for Justin Patterson.
Discussion:
The administrative negotiations committee recommended that the board approve the superintendent's contract.

5.C. Discuss, consider and take all necessary action to approve the proposed 2023-2024 principal contracts for Shannon Lovin and Joee Muhlbach.
Discussion:
Mr. Patterson presented a 5% raise to the principals contracts, and recommended to that the board approve the contracts.

5.D. Discuss, consider and take all necessary action to set and approve the pool rates and wages for the summer of 2022-2023.
Discussion:
Mr. Patterson shared with the board the rate increases of the Hildreth and Axtell city pools. He recommended that the board match Axtell's rates in order to stay competitive with attracting guards and managers.

5.E. Discuss, consider and take all necessary action to approve the purchase of a new math book series.
Discussion:
After discussing several pros and cons to the math book series, the board decided that additional time would be beneficial to review the materials.

6. Discussion Items

6.A. Discuss students traveling to national competitions and the financial responsibility of the district.
Discussion:
The district will continue the practice of paying for transportation expenses for students who qualify to compete at the national level and additional expenses will be fundraise by the activity.

6.B. Discuss future repairs to the Wilcox pool. Future repairs are: replacing concrete that is sinking and applying pressure on the pipework to the pool. This will cause the pipes to crack and leak, and replacing the diving board.

Discussion:
Mr. Patterson shared items for each school site that will be completed during the summer break.
